Food Recipes – an Italian classic: Panna Cotta Dessert
Try this easy recipe for creamy Panna Cotta served with a simple strawberry sauce.
1 tbsp water
5 tsp gelatin
2 cup cream
3 tbsp maple syrup(optional)
½ cup castor sugar/normal sugar
1/4 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup of milk
12 strawberry (roughly chopped)
4 tbsp castor sugar
1 tsp lemon juice
Soak gelatin in water and keep it aside. Add cream, maple syrup, castor sugar, white chocolate chips to a pan and heat it. Whisk while its heating up and keep whisking till the chocolate chips melts and dissolves. Add soaked gelatin to the mixture and whisk it again. Add milk, cook it for sometime and get it off the flame. Add vanilla essence, mix it and strain it to get a smooth mixture.
Let it 15 mins to cool down and then refrigerate it for another 20 mins.
In a heated pan, add strawberries, castor sugar and keep stirring it. Cook it till the sugar melts and strawberries cook without letting the sugar to get caramelized. Pour lemon juice and mix it well.
Serve panna cotta with strawberry sauce.
